MATTHEW WATERMAN
PARTNER
Matt Waterman is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice on the representation of contractors and owners in construction related disputes. Matt has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both commercial and residential matters involving contract claims, insurance coverage disputes, construction defects, real estate disputes, trade secrets, products liability issues, payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, and personal injury.
Matt has served as both lead and second chair counsel in multiple trials and arbitrations, and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict. Matt has also served as lead counsel in multiple mediations, and successfully negotiated several favorable settlements for his clients. Though an experienced trial lawyer, Matt routinely assists clients in the preparation of contract documents, and advises clients on project risk management issues. Matt has also worked with large national homebuilders to develop comprehensive, nationwide contract documents, warranty programs, licensing compliance programs, and advertising protocols.
Matt is an avid college football and baseball fan, and when not watching or talking sports enjoys working out, bowling, movies, and spending time with his family.
