AARON T. CAPPS

PARTNER

Clients often find themselves in complex disputes ranging from disagreements over contractual terms to the quality of work performed. Regardless of the dispute, Aaron has the experience needed to obtain favorable results for his clients. He represents Fortune 500 companies with most of his time spent advocating on behalf of owners, developers, and general contractors regarding private and public projects. He also has experience representing clients regarding issues arising from oil and gas projects and wind farms. In addition to his construction experience, his knowledge base extends into numerous other areas as he has handled personal injury lawsuits, lease issues, entity formation, representing creditors in bankruptcy issues, and numerous partnership disputes.

Aaron has successfully tried multiple cases to jury verdicts and arbitration awards. The knowledge Aaron has gained litigating construction disputes has enabled him to help clients on the front-end of projects as he has negotiated over $500 million in construction contracts. He has also drafted a variety of contracts, including those concerning employment matters and property purchases.

Away from work, Aaron enjoys time with his wife and two kids skiing, camping, attending concerts, fly fishing, or generally finding an excuse to stay outside with the family’s dog, Lincoln. As a former college football player and four-year team captain, he also thoroughly enjoys talking about or watching any sporting event.
