Colbie Brazell Campbell

Board-certified in construction, Colbie practices both commercial and residential construction law and represents clients in all aspects of the construction industry, including general contractors, owners, volume home builders, and specialty materials suppliers. Colbie’s practice includes counseling and litigation regarding a wide variety of construction-related issues, including design and construction defects, lien and bond claims, insurance coverage, payment disputes, contract termination/default, products liability, and other claims typical to the construction industry.

In addition to her construction practice, Colbie also practices trademark and copyright law. The majority of Colbie’s practice focuses on counseling her clients regarding a wide array of trademark and copyright issues. Colbie is actively involved in all phases of the trademark process, from initial advice regarding selection, usage, and registration to licensing, conveyance, and policing/protection. Colbie’s practice also includes intellectual property litigation, including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to joining Slates Harwell, Colbie served as a briefing attorney to the Honorable Don R. Willett of the Texas Supreme Court and then practiced construction and commercial litigation for four years with an AM Law 200 firm.
