Seth Yost
Associate
Seth Yost is an experienced litigator across multiple areas of complex commercial litigation. Seth’s current practice focuses on representing developers and general contractors in all areas of the construction industry. Prior to joining Slates Harwell in 2023, Seth worked for numerous Am Law 100 firms representing large corporate clients in large-scale commercial litigation on cases including products liability, securities, and contract disputes.
Seth earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law and held multiple officer roles for Lambda Law Alliance, the law school’s LGBTQ+ affinity group. Prior to law school, Seth served on active duty in the United States Navy as a French horn instrumentalist, touring the U.S. and Canada as an ambassador for the United States military. In his spare time, Seth enjoys playing softball, running marathons, and doing anything related to music.
